100+ Creative, Beautiful, and Inspiring Resumes

creative-cow-resume

There was a time when I really cared about how my resume looked, besides just the content. I don’t actually care much anymore, but I still find them fascinating.

I think the actual look of your resume can say just as much as the words. Personal opinion.

This is an updated post from a while ago here.

Enjoy after the jump… and if you’d like to download all of them I’ve got a zip file as well.

Want them all? Download here.

wow… I'm a pretty good Resume writer, but after seeing these, I'm wondering how I got my last job :)

I enjoy posts like this because they motivate me to learn something.

PROBLEM: I want to look at all these resume designs. Easily. Flipping through them a page at a time was not going to cut it.
SOLUTION: There is always an easier way. Its called the command line.

So no problem, I'll just load up my terminal and use wget. Except, Macs don't have wget. o.0 Macs come loaded with curl instead. Okay, whatever. I can adapt. Right after I learn how to use curl, that is. ;)

After a few hit-or-misses, here is how I quickly leeched these files from Human3rror.

1.) Launch the Terminal app in OSX, simply known as "Terminal".
2.) Switch to my downloads directory with a simple "cd Downloads" command. (That places me in the /Users/Aaron/Downloads directory on my hard drive.)
3.) Issue the curl command with correct syntax:
    curl -O http://human3rror.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/upl...

The "-O" option downloads the data as a file (default downloads the data directly to your terminal window!). The [0-100] in the filename is a special operator instructing curl to download the files beginning with 0, 1, 2, 3, etc in order — till 100. And, if you don't want to see the progress bar for each file, you can always add a "-s" option anywhere between the command and the filename.

    For what it's worth — Enjoy! :)

I remember submitting a "creative resume' once and being told that I obviously had never submitted a resume before and that I should look at some professional templates and copy them… wah wahhhhhhh.

50% of the skill required to pull off a successful creative resume is knowing when to use it.

I can't get the zip file.
Here's the error I'm getting: "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below."

Great timing with this post. Was just trying to make a creative resume and couldn't find any examples. Thanks!!!!!!

very creative but can't help wonder how the employers like them, especially if they the scan them.

i think my favorite (because i'm a dungeons & dragons nerd) is this one based on a character sheet.
