What an amazing night. 2 days ago I found myself on the top floor of Saks 5 Ave surrounded by beautiful, wealthy, and famous people in a charity gala that was so beyond my world it was slightly embarassing.
But, that wasn’t the point. I was there to support a good friend, Esther Havens, who had 6 pieces of her photography showcased as a part of Charity Water’s big fund raising event. Insane.
Charity Water is doing some amazing things. What they do is build wells in the remotest parts of the world to provide healthy and clean water to villages and people that have none. The results are incalculable. I’ve tried to express how much change actually occurs and words can really do it no justice.
But their faces can.
The smiles, laughter, and tears that are shed in light of this amazing transformation and life-altering work speaks eternity into men’s hearts.
What a pleasure. What a gift. What an amazing night to celebrate some extremely valuable work being done for others.
