QuietTime.tv Opens for Public BETA

QuietTime.tv is finally open for Public BETA.

Praise the Lord!  It’s been a grueling 3 months.  This project has been the most difficult and challenging web project that I’ve ever done; from development, to design, to dbase and hardware management, to server-side scripting and hosting platform… and not to mention the spiritual side of things as well.

But Lord my God, would you be blessed through it!

Here’s the official 411 about the site, the Mission, Vision, etc… as well as my extremely excited “public service announcement” that we’re open for registrations!

“A Passionate Dialogue between God and His People.”

QuietTime.tv is a social networking site that seeks to blend video technology and biblical theology. Members can upload, embed, and share their videos with family, friends, colleagues, ministries, and more.

Mission

Our Mission is to encourage others to seek and to know God deeply and passionately through consistent prayer and the reading of His Word, the Bible, which is divinely inspired.

To that end, QuietTime.tv exists to provide members with the tools which will enable them to connect with others, have video conversations, and create a “digital faith video journal”. Members will be able to simply and effectively encourage others, provide accountability and support, share Scriptural readings, have theological dialogue and discussions, personal devotionals, songs, messages, testimonies, and quiet times.

Our hope is that you not only be encouraged but that you’ll be able to practice verbalizing what you read and helping to “cement” it’s meaning beyond just the head and into the heart.

Our Vision and Statement of Faith

We believe that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the Church and the very foundation of our Faith. His completed work on the cross through payment and death for our sins and then being resurrected into life gives us all reason to share deeply with one another our love for Him and makes Him worthy of our time, energy, and personal affection.

We believe that Christian growth can only occur by consistently abiding in Jesus Christ through His Word, prayer, fellowship with other believers, and by yielding our lives to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We ultimately desire to see that all men make much of Christ.
