And… we’re back.

Wow.

It’s been 168+ hours since I last sat down to actually blog something up.  It’s been a pretty crazy 168 hours though.  Go me.  Go world (Visa Olympics Commercial is awesome).

I suppose the biggest news is that I’ve left the Fox and News Corp company (which was tons of fun) and have spent the last week traveling and conversating with lots of people.  Trying to find out where God is going to lead me for the next big thing.

But it’s a trip.  Literally.

I spent a few days in Atlanta, which is a home-away-from-home hanging out with Northpoint to see if there was a potential synergy. I did one of my QuietTime Videos in Hartsfield Airport just a few feet away from the Atlanta Bread Company where I had my first courtship date with my wife Sue.  Good times!

Come back to Atlanta?  Who knows?  But one things for sure, they’ve been doing some crazy things with their ministry.

Buckhead Church looks awesome.  It’s a technological and architectural monster and marvel.  Very cool stuff.  What fun it would be to work there…

*sigh*

In other news, JesusTweet is headed out the door and is going to be completely redone… a completely different platform and technology.  The biggest thing is being able to connect directly with Twitter, which is a big deal to more than just a few of the beta testers.  It makes sense.  And I’m stoked.

It’ll probably be one of my last projects for a while… which is a good thing.  Stay tuned… because it’s going to be awesome.

Finally, if you haven’t read or heard about a book by Andy Stanley called “Choosing to Cheat” you’ve gotta check it out.  I probably heard about that book 30 times in 32 hours… so at least once an hour while I was hanging out at NP.

They hooked me up with a copy and I read it before I was half way to Houston on my first leg.  The book is awesome.  Essentially it challenges working america (and pretty much all working evangelicals) to take another look at how they are prioritizing their time… and if it’s really glorifying God the best.

Anyways, I’m now rambling and extremely tired.  I’ll check you guys later.
