Christians are so Weird Sometimes…

I have my own personal (and theological) beliefs about this type of stuff but I’ll just say that I don’t pretend to “understand” what’s going on here and I’m clueless about the context in which this was captured so… I’ll just say that “Christians,” just like everybody else, can sometimes be straight-up weird.

But at least it’s entertaining.

Andy should do that at Northpoint. "Joy… Joy… whooo." That would be awesome. :) I kept thinking Alfred Hitchcock was going to walk out at the end saying "You have now entered the Twilight Zone."

Now, don't get me wrong… the Holy Spirit can do anything and move people in different ways that we may not understand but, for me, I just have reservation about the Holy Spirit moving in a creepy, smack ya on the head, make grown people laugh and roll on the floor or ooze out of the seat type way.

I was going to try to find a good or at least witty explanation but I think you already did…sometimes Christians are straight-up weird!

When I see images such as that, I have to wonder if I'd be the only person in the audience looking around thinking, "I don't get it?"

I could joke with the rest of you all, but when it comes to these guys, it must be my personality. Kennith Haggen was a heritic, so is Copeland. I say this because they reject the major tenants of the Christian faith, such as the eternal diety of Christ and the personhood of man and the substance of God.

If that was the work of the holy spirit, wouldn't the holy spirit know what that would look like to the world at large, 30 years later, and on YouTube? I don't mean to come across as blasphemous, but wouldn't the holy spirit know that a video like that, used in this context, would be a tremendous witness against God?

If that was the work of the holy spirit, wouldn't the holy spirit have known in advance what that would look like to the world at large, 30 years later, and on YouTube? I don't mean to come across as blasphemous, but wouldn't the holy spirit know that a video like that, used in this context, would be a tremendous witness against God?
