Definitely there’s a place for them, but what I was getting at was that if that is the only motivation (just feeding an ego) with out a broader context of sharing Christ, I’d hesitate to think it’s the absolute beat use of their time…!

Good to read here of how you’re thinking through where you blog and what you blog about. I’ve found there’s a place for all kinds of blogs, even for “ego blogs” not in the narcissistic sense, but in the open book here’s who I am as a human being sense. I think that’s what Carlos’ http://www.ragamuffinsoul.com really does well, it’s the content and context of his life, and a part of it is the natural overflow of his life in Christ.

Hey John! Looking forward to tracking with you as you work through these transitions. Any time we can take something and be more intentional and strategic about how we use it, I get excited. Especially when we’re being intentional and strategic about connecting with people who do not go to church and/or who have not put their faith in Jesus. I love doing this and watching others do it! that’s awesome dude! I agree that our message should be more focused and intentional rather then a collection of miscellaneous info, which is currently the largest tag count on my blog…..
