Kerygma Shoutout

It’s always cool to get an “institutional” shoutout.

Dallas Theological Seminary publishes a great News and Updates called Kerygma.

The cool thing is (and I just learned this btw) is that Kerygma (κηρύγμα, kērúgma) is the Greek word used in the New Testament for preaching (see Luke 4:18-19, Romans 10:14, ). It is related to the Greek verb κηρύσσω (kērússō), to cry or proclaim as a herald.

And I thought it was just some funky Web 2.0-ish type phrase.  HAH… what was I thinking…

Anyways, the link goes to TheologyBlogs.com, a DTS Blog Aggregator I made with WordPress and Google widgets.  Pretty simple.

Every Seminary should have one…!  Drop me a line and I’ll help you out!
