Make Twitter into Cash

Beamagpie.com just hit the maps as the new service where you can not only make a couple bucks per month via your Twitter account but is also the fastest way to get Qwitter-spam like no tomorrow (or, perhaps, like yesterday’s nightmarish experience of @loswhit “enemic-like” behavior… one person called it a genocide).

I mean, seriously, would YOU want to get random advertisments via my twitter account on occasion?

I mean, I could use the extra money… a ministry-salary can be somewhat “slim”…  but at what “cost”?

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I wouldn’t make much money anyways because my twitter-evaluation was less than a Happy Meal at MickeyD’s…

But, Ragamuffin could be making somewhat south of a Benjamin!  Check it:

Anyways, do as you please.  If I do see an advertisement, expect the email.  Expect it.

This website uses IntenseDebate comments, but they are not currently loaded because either your browser doesn't support JavaScript, or they didn't load fast enough.

Discuss. Nicely. ;)

    You made me lol.

  2. Hmm, I think people putting ads in their Twitter feeds is probably the fastest way to get bounced from my followers list (all eight of them that is).

Interesting concept, though. And I could definitely use the extra $80/month. :)

wow, interesting find. I definitely won't be doing this. However, on the topic of advertisements, I kind-of actually enjoy adverts on Facebook that are ministry related things – they do this thing where they target ads to me base on my profile, so I made my profile reflect the kinds of things I'd like to see ads on, and they're not half bad – or maybe 2/3 bad, but there are some good nuggets.

haha! keep that on the low! i suppose you do not suffer from banner blindness… wowie!

but, i have clicked through some of those ads…. so, i must admit…

    amen to the $…

  6. I actually saw the same thing related to religious and snowboarding adverts. Not too bad because they are actually related to subjects I am interested in. It is better than a random ad I have no interest in.

  7. You know, I started thinking more about this and I think it is equivalent to writing a blog just to sell your company's products. No one will want to read your blog if all you do is sell ads on it. Rather, you want to make your blog interesting, fun or helpful. Same as the people I follow on Twitter.

Thanks for the article! Take care, bud.

I agree. One's motivation might be brought into question… that's an interesting point.

  9. rad site man.

    good things.

    :) thanks for stopping by!

I saw this when it first came out, entered my twitter name, brentter, in and it came back with something crazy like 400+Euro/month. I just now did it again and here's what I got (I don't know if your WP theme allows for html code in comments, so lemme just apologize ahead of time if it just shows up as code):

    <img src=”http://twitpic.com/show/thumb/l52l.jpg” width=”150″ height=”150″ alt=”Bling Bling? on TwitPic”>

Around $234 USD/Month…. wow. I think their algorithm might be a little jaded…just a thought.

another “stupid” API implementation… it's all crazy simple math.
