Mr. Rogers – Best Neighbor Ever

CNN had a great list of 15 reasons why Mr. Rogers was the best neighbor ever.

It’s worth a read and I found it actually pretty challenging as I start planning how this year is going to pan out… and how my family wants to get more involved in the local community.

How are you being a “good neighbor”?  Are you Mr. Rogers-like?

    I remember him being the butt of many jokes many years ago, but he really was a solid citizen. Probably why people made fun of his show.

    That is an awesome article! What an incredible man. I never knew there was a debate about allowing VCR's to record shows from the home – interesting.

    How about your neighbors. Have you had any success overcoming stereotypes liked you talked about a few months ago?

    Well, lol, while I have difficulty envisioning myself as a "Mr. Rogers", I can take note of his character. Like, maybe I can start by getting a wardrobe of the same outfit. I am a bit O.C.D. ya know… lol

    i've never been able to keep my posture so perfect while putting on shoes. mr. rogers is awesome.

    I'll tell ya, he was a good neighbor… from my neighborhood, actually. It was pretty surreal to see him walking the streets of Winter Park, FL
