The Perfect Scrambled Egg
Sometimes I simply use my blog as a repository for stuff that I not only find awesomely-cool but that I want to refer back to later… it’s like my blog is my personal bookmarking tool, except I wanna go one step further and share the yummy goodness.
The above video is Gordon making the perfect scrambed egg is something I wanna try.
Building a ‘Better’ Blog
I have a design-disease called “perfection.” Perhaps it’s a sub-category of a much larger disease…
I’m not sure if there has ever truly been a time where I’ve been satisfied with the work that I do. I know, in my heart and soul, that it can be better.
The recent re-design of ChurchCrunch is the closest I’ve come to ever being “fully satisfied” with my final product, and even there I’ve been tweaking it nightly to enhance speed, performance, and a bunch of other stuff that would make you fall asleep.
Seth Godin’s thoughts about “What Does Better Mean” was a helpful reminder that “better” can (is?) simply subjective. The problem is that we have such a gosh-darn hard time because we tend to compare ourselves to each other a lot.
I know I do.
When was the last time you made your blog “better” for yourself, for your readers, and not because of the competition?
WordPress Plugin of the Day: Post 2 PDF
There a number of blogs out there that I love to print out and take with me to read, or to give to other people. This plugin makes it a bit more easy to create PDF’s of the actual blog posts.
Very neat.
