I LOL’d.

Unisex FTW!

10 Year Reunion’s scare me as they require me to be a lot more social than I am naturally, especially when it’s not your own reunion.

You see, in any other circumstance we get to choose the types of engagements we willingly jump into, and typically the people at these events share at least something in common so that networking and discourse is at least guided and contextually understood.

And, of course, one always has the choice of “opting-out” if you don’t feel like going, except your spouse’ reunion. The mix of inevitability, the no-choice-but-to-go and no-way-out type of scenario with a touch of mystery and a whole lot of awkwardness could have resulted in disaster.

But, it didn’t; it was actually a most-enjoyable experience!

I was able to capture a few moments of the day for Sue:

Me:

Roenne, today I will teach you a fundamental principle of life as it pertains to technology.

Roenne:

Yeah…

Me:

Listen carefully: Not all places are technologically up to par when it comes to wireless access.

Roenne:

Ok…
