I've been going through the same thing lately. I just quit my job a few weeks ago and am in the process of starting a new company, alone. Very alone. While I was practically running the company I quit, I now feel the full weight of everything that needs to be done and done yesterday. Worked most of the day today. I know this is an impossible pace keep up, and no offense, but I don't want to end up like you, Katie.
It's ironic that the more you succeed and work to use your God given abilities, the more the world interrupts you. I've about had enough. I think another day or two of this pace, and I'm switching my iPhone email accounts off and only checking it once or twice a day. Thanks for the encouragement to detox.

First off, awesome pic. Where'd you find it?

I've been going through the same thing lately. My pretty little Samsung BlackJack went flying across the room because I couldn't find what I wanted on the mobile web browser...it was enough to infuriate me. That was the point when I took it back to AT&T and said "I need a phone that calls people, no more." Took a weekend to myself to forget the world and have never been better.
While living in the information age has led us all into a place where we can find people instantly, stay connected across continents and keep up with what's happening in the world minute-by-minute (to include what would seem to be fueling a revolution), it's also not-so-slowly and most-assuredly taking away what little sense of self Generation Y has left. Who are we behind the screen names, myspace and facebook profiles, and tweets? Are we still people? Or have we become some technology generated means by which the internet has found a way to evolve and expand? Are we enjoying and taking advantage of it, or have we reached a reality where Hal has become a reality and we're all being manipulated?
I realize this is long, and I'm sorry, just kind of struck a chord. Hrm. Take care, detox well, Happy 4th, God Bless.

I never did learn how to do that. I just crashed one day.
