Apart from the cool photo… you really do have a point (about me too). Just remember though that even superman spent more time faking it than not.
ah. man. never even thought about that…
… wow. thanks for that.
was Clark his real ID or the Red-Blue Blur?
This is a bit off topic, but Super man is my fav superhero because his superhero Persona was his TRUE identity and his 'normal human' part was not real. All other superheros (i think) where first human and then something happen to make them special. Superman IS special, and had to pretend normality.
I do detest superman, the way he breaks physics and the sound barrier, all in the same day. What bothers me about superman is that basically we're all supermen if we went to krypton but coincidntally its not longer around. And somehow superman gets power from all kinds of different suns in all kinds of parallel realities and galaxies, how far is krypton any way?
I think we all have those days…I think it is just sometimes more real. You know…if you are anything like me in a weird way you appreciate these moments because it humbles me and makes me and redirects my focus to Jesus.
you speak truth grasshopper
Nice post, I can relate. Stripping away pride is always the hardest part of not faking it. I'm guilty as charged. Thanks for the perspective.
I know what you mean, although some days I feel like an alien from a planet very far away – wait a minute – Superman was an alien from a planet far away.
Sometimes I find myself painting a picture to others that is more of an epic legend than the guy sitting behind this screen…Pride=FAIL
