This video will either make you laugh or cry.

Perhaps both. 3 minutes and 13 seconds of super-strangeness.

Haha, that’s from Fire by Nite.

When I was a teen…back in the late 80s-early 90s…it was a video club put out by Willie George (Church on the Move, Tulsa)…also known for the Gospel Bill kids’ videos put out monthly.

It (FBN) was a sketch/music video show with monthly guests and topical teaching/sketches. Believe it or not it was fairly good at the time. I actually remember this sketch vividly.

I saw many christian music video premiers on FBN as well.

Blaine Bartel, the guy playing David, is a well known Youth Pastor/speaker and now pastors Northstar Church.

Teen Mania (Acquire the Fire) and See You At The Pole were both promoted heavily by FBN in the early years and it’s probably because of FBN that they are still going strong 15 years later.

And for the record MOST of the sketches were terribly cheesy on purpose. Fun stuff.

It was OK, I didn’t know if it was the bad acting or the bad acting that wanted to make me cry and upchuck at the same time.

But I liked it, maybe I am a glutton for punishment.

    Blessings
    Jeff
