Thesis Theme is SEO Hotness – Win a Copy from Me – CONTEST!

thesis-300x250

This “review” (if you want to call it that) is somewhat silly since I’ve actually never represented this theme “in the wild” on any public (or well known) blogs.

What it has done, for me specifically, is provided some good backend hacking and learning about SEO for blogs, generally speaking.

But here’s my official “hat tip” to the Thesis Theme and it’s incredible SEO abilities, besides easy management of design aspects.  Simply put, it’s fast becoming one of the most widely used and adopted frameworks for WordPress blogs online.  Big name bloggers like Chris Brogan touts it shamelessly.

I agree. The thing is high-quality. It’s coded nicely and is nearly dummy proof.

The biggest value though, in my opinion is that it’s just plain nice to look at and it focuses on content and typography very well.  The result is that you don’t have to worry about design. You see, the biggest frustration for many people is the idea that I have to make my blog look unique and different from everyone in the entire blogosphere.

This is frustrating.

And the simple fact is that NO ONE has a completely UNIQUE look.  We are all fools to believe that we are rocking a unique looking theme.  Unless you are part of the .000000000000000000000000001% of individuals who design, implement, and then code their own (or pay some crazy amount of money for someone to do it for them)… you’re going to be “looking” the same as someone else.

So, might as well do it with some style and knowing that your blog will get found by the Google monster.

Besides, it’s much better to be found with a theme that’s proven to have good SEO and looks decent than have a smashingly-unique and attractive blog and never get seen except by your mom who you accidentally copied to her via an email…

So, in light of all this, I’ve decided to make one blogger happy by kicking the 2009 year off with a contest:

THE THESIS-IS-A-SEXY-BEAST-SEO-HOTNESS-CONTEST.

Yes, that’s right.  Win a copy from me.  All you have to do is comment.  I stole this sweet idea from Jenny announcing her 3,000th comment.

I’m not so brilliant or obviously famous, so I’m working toward my #2,000 comment.  So, if you are #2,000, you win. The end.

So, start commenting.  It’s close… less than 100 to go.
